Legend of Lang and Biang

During the conflict, H'Biang sacrificed herself by shielding K'Lang from a poisoned arrow. Heartbroken by her death, K'Lang refused to leave her side and soon passed away as well.

The loss of the two lovers deeply affected the elders of both tribes. Realising that hatred and prejudice had caused an unnecessary tragedy, they agreed to end the ancient prohibition and reconcile their communities. The mountains where the couple were laid to rest became known as Lang Biang, preserving their memory for generations. Today, the legend represents far more than a romantic tale. It is a powerful symbol of love, courage, forgiveness, and unity among the K'Ho people. For visitors, understanding this story adds a deeper cultural meaning to every journey through the forests and mountain peaks of Lang Biang, transforming a beautiful landscape into a place where history, legend, and local identity come together.
